Blog: Floridians Say No To Court Packing

The Supreme Court recently dominated headlines by refusing to block a new Texas law that prohibits abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy. With a tight 5-4 vote, the verdict gave new life to demands for a workaround that would clear the way for the liberal agenda: add justices to the Supreme Court, a practice otherwise known as court packing.

We The People turned to Florida voters to find out where public sentiments really lie on this issue, and the results were clear: Floridians are saying no to court packing.

64% of the 407 voters we spoke to said they opposed adding more justices to the Supreme Court. 86% of registered Republicans said no to court packing, along with more than 67% of voters over the age of 50 and 58% of registered Independents.

Our goal is to make sure politicians hear We The People loud and clear on critical issues like preserving the integrity of our Supreme Court.
